finally done

so after i got home tonight, i went upstairs, took a shower and my bad luck showed up again.

heres a good timeline of events:
12am: open laptop and get ready to work on blog
12:01am: open itunes to stream music from my main computer, so that i have music to listen to while blogging.
12:01:08am: window’s blue screens me with some kernal error,  i think nothing of it and reboot.

Upon reboot, the laptop is showing me that it is missing a .dll file. I read how to fix it, and upon reading up on it, i find its not an easy fix. I was then presented with 2 options. Go through the painful process of repairing windows and have most of the programs not work right after the uninstall. Or i could just format this laptop and start fresh. I chose the latter because this computer didn’t have anything stored on it of mine of much importance, and all of Dad’s stuff was backed up months ago.

I found out that the HP reinstall disk for XP home doesnt install any of the crap you traditionally get on a store bought pc. Nor did i have to re-activate windows. Now its really early in the morning, most of my programs are back in and i am streaming music via itunes from my main pc, while working on my blog.

I’m going to bed now.

funny clip from a movie i havent even seen

ok, so i’ve seen bits and pieces, but i did learn that this was Chris Farley’s last movie. Anyways, i love this scene. It’s perfect bar fight music

the movie is “Dirty Work” by the way

weekend 5-26,5-27

saturday was really boring, i had nothing to post about.

today i woke up, and went to church. visited with my friend Austin who just finished his mission. Good to catch up. I went into work and made it through a boring day. I did buy a new sd card though. 2gig for $19.50 after discount. I went to joe’s after that to help him restore his computer. I’m tired so i’ll wrap this up.

Mariners swept the royals. were 24-22 now.

i guess im going to a bbq tomorrow.

5-25 eod

this one will be short.
Today was a good day. it started with a “huh?” at court. Apparently i didnt do my subpoena correctly, so the judge reset my trial and i have to go back to court in july and do it all over again.  Whatever, i didnt have to pay.

I cleaned out my car and vacuumed it. Went to britanys and hung out for awhile. I then went home, ate some subway and didnt do much. At 4 we went to the spaghetti factory with joe and ember. That was good. we then went to the cemetery and i think we all did fine. It wasn’t too emotional, and we had a decent time there.
Me and Joe started talking about a camping trip we want to take in the summer, so hopefully that pans out.

I went home, then realized i left my beloved $30 Mariners hat at the spaghetti factory. I hopped in the Nissan and drove back to Tacoma. i got my had then headed over to my friend Joey’s house and tried to fix his computer. Insane spyware problem.

The weather has been interesting lately. It’s been around 80 the last couple days while staying overcast. Its kinda nice not being blinded, but i miss the sun.

Bonney Lake High lost in the semifinals for the State baseball tournament. They play for the 3rd place game tomorrow, oh well good job for a 2nd year team.

Tomorrow i work the lame 1-10pm shift. I then will probably head to joey’s house and catch the end of a good bonfire.

It’s late, im going to bed.

The mariners won today. 22-22 record now

5/24 eod

wow, a really low key, boring day.

i woke up at 9 to my friend janet texting me, saying she is stuck in minnesota waiting for a flight to orlando on standby. Crazy stuff. She started at salt lake at 6am. i texted her off and on throughout the day seeing if she’d ever get out. She sent me a text at 6pm saying she finally got a flight. Imagine being in an airport in a town you don’t know for that long. How boring. I guess shes tough though, being from St. Louis.

Lets see, i sat around. Had chicken strips for lunch and preceded to not do much else until work. I listened to the whole mariners game on the radio early in the afternoon. Crazy game it was. We ended up losing to tampa bay 12-13. It was an anticlimactic ending to a pretty crazy gome.

I then went to work, had a peaceful day there and left without problem at 9:15. I decided to drive to wilkeson to get some Green River pop. Delicious stuff, just really hard to find.

I had taco bell for dinner then watched some tv.

I talked to Britany for a little bit, then watched more tv. my other friend tiffany called me and i talked to her for a little bit. I decided to goto bed somewhat later. Im now here.

court in the morning. then who knows what for what would be dad’s 58th birthday

5/23

So the mariners won again today. Thats always good news, as they are back at .500 agian. 21-21 we are.
So i woke around 10, took a shower i think and got ready for the day. Had some fresheta pizza for lunch then it was off to south hill. Got my transmission fluid changed and turns out my car doesn’t have a filter for that so i didnt have to pay $31 for a stupid filter. $20 bucks later i had some new tranny fluid. I went went to walmart and bought another 1 gallon jug of Hawaiain Punch. Delicious stuff that is.  I then played some baseball with Shane down at Allen Yorke and i finally achieved my goal of hitting a baseball from home plate all the way over the 12 foot fence that guards the skate park. Its somewhere between 250 and 300 feet i’d guess. The skaters gave shane a dirty look and threw the ball back.

So i went home, cleaned up and went to Britany’s. I mainly stood around and helped out clean out some of their giant containers. That was some decent fun i guess, then i went to my bros house.

I helped him build his new computer and that took longer then it should have. However in the end, the computer does work. The highlight of the build was when he couldn’t find out why his computer wouldn’t read his driver disk. I later pointed out that it was a dvd, and all he had was a cd burner. I laughed at him, and then used the laptop to give him files.

I then went home and am writing this right now. I assume i’ll go to bed within the next hour.

good night folks

readers: my writing style will change from time to time

5/22 E.O.D

end of day that is.

I woke up around a normal time (10am for me) and took a shower, and did some laundry. I ate some Mcdonalds for lunch and created this blog your reading.

i went to work at 4 and was quickly chewed out about all of my sick days as of late. Luckily my manager said he won’t fire me, so i guess i’ll try a little more…

Work was pretty boring as usual. I had taco bell after work

I have a busy day for an off day tomorrow. I should get an oil and transmission fluid change, then i have to do the following: (not in order yet…)

  • Go to Joe’s to help him build his computer
  • Go to Joey’s to clean up his laptop which has some ugly stuff on it. Its spyware assumably (word?)
  • See Britany sometime before or after all of that
  • Buy a new memory card for my camera. My other one has gone missing
  • Watch the end of the American Idol finale (maybe)

Should be busyish from 1pm on tomorrow. I’ll report back tomorrow.

Apolo Ohno won dancing with the stars. Good job, i was rooting for ya.

Have fun y’all, i’m going to bed
